Predis 1.0.0 script details In simpler terms Predis is just a PHP abstraction layer for Redis.
This means developers can use PHP-specific syntax to create & run database queries and retrieve query results at the same time.
Predis allows them to focus on their PHP skills without having to waste time learning Redis specific SQL syntax, and also secure their code by not having SQL syntax mixed with PHP.
